Since December 2023, the TFTSG has published Chelonian Conservation News, an informal digital newsletter distributed intermittently as needed. To date, it has been produced once annually. We welcome member submissions of news items, citations to newly published articles, and announcements of events or meetings relevant to the TFTSG community. Chelonian Conservation News (2023– )
Earlier newsletters date back to 1981, first issued separately by the Freshwater Chelonian Specialist Group (1981–1986) and Tortoise Specialist Group (1985), then jointly by the TFTSG (1987–1990). All of these historical issues have been scanned and are available for download, along with the four 2009 issues of our previous digital newsletter, TurtleLog.
